Law Clerk - Climate Justice Program
Jenn is a second year law student at University of Oregon Law School. Jenn grew up in Ohio and moved to Oregon in 2009 to pursue a Masters Degree in Forest Science at Oregon State University, studying soil and water biogeochemistry. After acquiring her Masters, Jenn worked in youth mental health and became more politically active, both within and outside of establishment politics. She has advocated with organizations promoting single payer healthcare and mental health parity, she's organized lobbying in the Oregon State Legislature, and she served on Benton County's Mental Health, Addiction, and Developmental Disability advisory board.
Jenn is excited to join CSE where she can combine her passion for advocacy and serving Oregonians with her background in environmental science. She will be focusing on several areas of legal research, including the Governor's executive order directing agencies to regulate greenhouse gas emissions, corporate ownership of forest land, and the impact of energy policy on front-line communities in Eugene.
