Bryan Bird received his masters in conservation biology from New Mexico State University in 1995 and undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 1990. Bryan has undertaken conservation research and planning in Central America and the western United States for nearly twenty years. Protection and restoration of American wildlands, as well as monitoring, reviewing and developing land management and restoration policies has been his area of focus since 1996. Bryan lives in the Galisteo watershed a tributary of the Rio Grande.
